The American Morgan Horse Educational Charitable Trust (AMHECT) and the United Professional Horsemen's Association (UPHA) are excited to announce that all expenses of the 2024 AMHECT/UPHA Open Gate Learning Center will be covered through AMHECT and the Grand National Committee for the 2024 Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show® being held in Oklahoma City, OK - October 5–12.

The purpose of the Learning Center is to provide academic support to young riders, grades 5-12, who are away from their local schools. Participants can stay abreast of their academic requirements by being provided with a structured learning environment. The center is supervised by a professional teacher who can provide academic support for students and the center will work with teachers from the student's school to help guide activities while away from school and to monitor tests, if needed. Assignments can be posted, faxed, or emailed from the center to meet deadlines.

This year, seating is limited to 25 students and sign up is on a first come, first served basis. All students will need to bring any materials required to complete their assignments including laptops and calculators when applicable.

Learning Center hours are daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.

To sign up your child to be a student or for more information, please contact Nikki at (859) 448-5109 or nicole@morganhorse.com.
