HD Harkness at the 2024 Michigan Horse Expo

HD Harkness has done it again! Being the only Morgan horse out of hundreds present at the Michigan Horse Expo, "Hark" was an extraordinary breed ambassador, promoting to thousands of people from across the country.

The Michigan Horse Expo dates back 41 consecutve years, being one of the longest running equine events in the country. Each year, there are nearly 20,000 people in attendance and 300 horse participants that represent over 25 different breeds. Present at the 2024 Michigan Horse Expo, HD Harkness was able to be the face for the Morgan breed, convincing everyone who stopped by that the Morgan is the best horse to have. Mary Chris, Hark's owner, recalls many memorble moments that involve Hark loving on people and people loving Hark right back. Mary says, "In all our years of showing, we have never had so much fun with our horses as we have watching Hark put smiles on so many faces!"

The Michigan Horse Expo was only Hark's first stop this year. Hark is headed to the Midwest Horse Fair in April next where is the Celebrity Horse for the Fair and will be playing the part of Figure in the Wisconsin Morgan Horse Club's presentation. He and Mary also have a few book signings coming up and will have appearances for Detroit Horse Power and a few therapeutic riding academies along the way.
