NEW Grant Offered in Memory of Ava Boyce-Bender

AMHECT is proud to offer the new Ava Boyce-Bender Memorial Grant beginning in 2023. Ava was tragically lost in an automobile accident in 2021 and the hopes for this grant is to assist other young equestrians to advance their skills and careers in memory of Ava. 

The application period will open on May 13, Ava’s birthday, and will run through the end of the day, Monday, August 14 (5:00 PM Eastern). The application for this grant is open to AMHA members under the age of 40 looking for assistance to further their equine education skills or proficiancy and/or provide equine related experiences and education that will further the grant recipiant's business endeavors.
