Battle of the Barns: Round 2 at Grand National Raises over $10,000 for Museum!

The 2022 edition of the Battle of the Barns Bucket Challenge at Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show® featured 14 buckets generously gifted by various competing barns and individuals. The auction ran from the beginning of the show, Saturday October 8th and closed at 6:15 CDT, Friday October 14th. When bidding concluded, the total bid across all buckets totaled $10,225 to be sent directly to the National Museum of the Morgan Horse for future museum endeavors.

Once again, trophies were awarded for the Highest Bid and Most Creative Bucket. This year, the Most Creative Bucket title went to the Ultimate Slumber Party graciously gifted by Miller Equestrian Services. This fun addition included sleeping bags, pajamas, slippers, a DVD projector, board games, a snow cone machine and a popcorn machine, and tons of more fun!

The Highest Bid went once again to Terri Sturm, with her gift titled Strait to Vegas, which included a gift card to any MGM hotel on the Vegas Strip, tickets to see George Strait and the National Finals Rodeo, restaurant gift cards, and much more. This incredible gift went for $4,300 when bidding concluded!
