Congratulations to SRH Veterinary Services for being named the 2022 PATH Intl Region 1 Veterinarian of the Year! This prestigious honor was awarded to SRH for its dedicated service to Windrush Farm of North Andover’s therapeutic riding horses for forty long and healthy years. 

Windrush Farm of North Andover, Massachusetts, nominated SRH and proudly announced receipt of the award on May 31, 2022. This award is given by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl), the national membership and credentialing body for professionals employed in the field of equine-assisted services. SRH Veterinary Services was formed in 1987, when the late and legendary Massachusetts equine veterinarian and Morgan horse breeder S. Robert Orcutt (the “S” in SRH) of Rowley, Massachusetts, welcomed his son, Robert Orcutt DVM (the “R” in SRH), and his daughter, Helen Noble, VMD, (the “H” in SRH) to join him in serving the horse community of Boston’s North Shore region. 

Dr. Orcutt’s Burkland Farm, founded in 1951, is still going strong today. It is home to 5th generation horse trainer Joshua Noble and boasts a reputation for producing quality Morgan horses for both show and pleasure. Read the history of Burkland Farm HERE.
