2022 Breed Promotion Grant Application Period is Open!
The application period for the 2022 Breed Promotion Grants opened on November 1, 2021. The deadline to submit your application is Friday, January 21, 2022 by 5:00 PM Eastern Time. The application may be found HERE.
AMHA offers these grants to any AMHA club, organized Morgan group, Morgan barn, or AMHA-affiliated organization (individuals are not eligible) to assist in their promotion of the Morgan horse. Up to $10,000 each year may be awarded. All sizes of requests are considered and AMHA reserves the right to award as many or as few grants as deemed appropriate based upon the applications received. In 2021, nine grants were awarded to promote our breed across the United States and Australia.
At least one member of the applying party must be a current AMHA member and all horses involved must be registered Morgans for the application to be considered. A compelling request must be made. Please see the application for requirement details.
Also, all grant recipients agree to provide the required written summary of activities and expenditures funded by the grant within 45 days of expending the funds. Unused grant money MUST be returned to AMHA immediately as grants do not carry over from year to year.
