In Memory - Jean Levens

Jean passed away at home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Age 79 years. She was born October 29, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to Francis J. and Josephine R. Wahl. Jean was a member of Mary of Immaculate Conception Church, Morgan Horse Association and Michigan Justin Morgan Horse Association. She loved her grandchildren, her Morgan horses and her students on her school bus routes with the Chesaning Schools. Jean owned Briarlane Farm in St. Charles.

Surviving are her two sons and spouses, Ronald Levens (Dr. Sara Barrigar) and Charles “Mick” (Robin) Levens; grandchildren, Megan (Alex) Whyte, Morgan Levens, Katrina Levens, Brandon Czachorwski, Lindsey Levens, Roland Glenn Barrigar; brother Ronald (Linda) Wahl and many nieces and nephews in Ohio, California and Arizona. She was preceded by her parents, sister, Marilyn Planting; long-time-friend, David A. Aho and grandson, Corey Mitchell Levens.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to Saginaw County Animal Care Center.
