Office Closed Due to Possible COVID Exposure
It has been brought to AMHA's attention that an employee "may" have been exposed to someone that might test positive for COVID-19. Therefore, the AMHA Office in Kentucky will be closed Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11 for all Kentucky staff members to quarantine in accordance with the State of Kentucky’s Healthy at Work protocols which recommend a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test.
While no employee is reporting symptoms or testing positive for the virus currently, AMHA feels an ethical responsibility to safeguard everyone and incorporate all CDC Guidelines.
Once the quarantine period and negative tests are completed, it is expected that the office may return to this year’s earlier, hybrid system of having some employees temporarily working from home.
Executive Director, Carrie Mortensen will be at the Kentucky office to accept mail/deliveries and ensure the calendars are shipped out priority mail as planned since she had been out of the office the day of the possible exposure and can avoid the quarantine period herself.
