In Memory - Jack L. Grimes

Jack L. Grimes, 83, of Wooster (Ohio), died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Private graveside services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Jack was born May 11, 1937 in Alliance to Eldon and Grace {Furrey} Grimes.

He married Janet E. Greenwald on July 14, 1954. 

Jack was a Foursquare Gospel Church ordained minister for 60 years. He pastored Lewisburg, PA, Bath, ME, Dayton, MD, Dennison, Cambridge and Mansfield, OH. Jack was currently working at Sterling Transport (Grammar) as a dispatcher for over 30 years.  When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with horses and his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jack will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years; children Cheryl Grimes of Wooster Sharon (Ron) Markley of Mansfield, Michael (Claudia) Grimes of Wooster; grandchildren Bryan (Katie), Angela (Tim), Dawn (Tarin), Brittany, Chad (Kourtney), and John (Jen); 16 great-grandchildren; brother Richard (Bernice) Grimes of Bellville, PA; sister Faith Smith of Lewisburg, PA

Jack was preceded in death by his twin brother Jim Grimes.
