State Line Tack® to Participate in International Helmet Awareness Day
State Line Tack® is pleased to announce they are once again participating in International Helmet Awareness Day, taking place September 12 and 13, 2020. Now in its 10th year, International Helmet Awareness Day is run by Riders4Helmets and started on a national level in 2010 after Olympic rider Courtney King-Dye sustained a traumatic brain injury in a fall during which she was not wearing a helmet. In the last decade, the number of participating helmet manufacturers has grown exponentially, and riders across the world recognize the weekend as the time to get the best deals of the year on most, if not all, major brands. More than just a sale, IHAD is a platform to educate equestrians about the importance of helmet and safety awareness world-wide, through equestrian retailers. Horses, and riding, can be dangerous. IHAD aims to mitigate the risk through education and opportunity. It is an amazing opportunity to discuss the nuances of correct helmet fit, how a helmet protects your head in the event of an accident, and the lifespan of a helmet and when to replace it. State Line Tack® supports rider safety and will be featuring special contests, helmet fitting content, and exclusive sale pricing on helmets. Riders can visit https://www.statelinetack.com/ihad for informative guides and articles on helmets, as well as special helmet pricing available on September 12 – 13, 2020. |
