2020 Carousel Horse Show Morgan Youth of the Year Contests

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 Carousel Horse Show Youth of the Year Contest. The three participants have participated in past competitions and continue to improve their horse knowledge and skill. The senior division winner, Amanda White won a $200 scholarship towards her trip to compete at the 2020 Youth of the Year Contest at the Morgan Grand National & World Championship. Many thanks are due to the volunteers and organizers who made this contest possible. Special thanks to Rushton Stables for volunteering their horses for the judging contest. 

Youth of the Year contests are designed to recognize top achievers and consist of four parts: a written exam, an oral presentation, judging contest and a horsemanship pattern. The Carousel Horse Show Youth of the Year Contest offers a positive atmosphere in which young contestants and adults who share a love of the Morgan can interact.
