MORGAN STRONG
Will you help AMHA remain MORGAN STRONG?
We are in unprecedented times.
First and foremost, AMHA wants our Morgan Community to be safe and stay well. People and Horses alike! We know how strong our community is and how much compassion we share for our equestrian friends and horses. AMHA implores you to follow all the CDC and government guidelines and recommendations to keep yourselves safe and protected during this COVID-19 pandemic. Please be careful and take all necessary precautions. USEF has a great resource page on their website that provides links to all the current information and agency updates. You can check it out at https://www.usef.org/media/coronavirus-resources.
Challenges are all around us. Like so many other organizations, AMHA is facing financial uncertainty.
While many of you are aware of the financial challenges AMHA continues to face with a lawsuit initiated by former Central Region Director Vicki Bennett (costing AMHA $73,840.35 to date), we now have the volatile and unknown situation from the Covid-19 pandemic which will result in a dire reduction to AMHA’s revenue stream, both in losses in memberships and magazine advertising revenues.
AMHA knows many of you, if not ALL of you, are financially impacted by this pandemic. We will continue to provide information as it becomes available regarding assistance programs. However, if you are able, we would ask that you renew your AMHA membership now. Loss of memberships will adversely affect how AMHA comes out on the other side of this pandemic. It would be a wonderful way to help AMHA remain MORGAN STRONG. So, if you are able, renew today online or print the form that can be found at https://www.morganhorse.com/membership/join/.
Be safe and take care of yourselves and your Morgan horses!
