Last Chance to Give Your Morgan a Champion Title Before Nationals!
If your 2018 show season has been filled with blue ribbons, you have until Monday, October 1 to enter AMHA's Champion Title program for your horse to be announced as a Champion or Grand Champion at this year's Grand National!
AMHA's Champion Title Program began as a pilot program in 2011, and since that time, more than 500 Morgan horses have entered the program!
The program enrollment fee is $75 and $25 for each year of competition that points are earned. The competition year runs November 2-November 1. To become a Champion, a horse must earn 15 points winning the championship or reserve championship at any USEF-rated all Morgan show, in Morgan classes sanctioned by USEF, or an AMHA Star Rated Show. To become a Grand Champion, a horse must earn 30 points.
And did you hear the news? AMHA recently revamped its guidelines to accept reserve championship points retroactively! Horses currently in the program can add those points to their record for just $25! Many horses already have done this and have earned their titles!
