Dressage Scholarship Winner Announced

The Van Schaik Dressage Scholarship is given annually to a Morgan individual wishing to further his or her skill, knowledge, or proficiency in classic ridden dressage. The intentions of the scholarship emphasize helping to move a rider from the beginning levels of dressage to fourth level or higher.

AMHA is pleased to announce the 2017 recipient is Carla Johnston, owner and rider of Atakapa Harmony (The Red Falcon x Atakapa Free Spirit) of Ruston, Louisiana. "I was thrilled when we were named the AMHA Open Competition Beginner Level Dressage High-Point Champions," Carla said. "Imagine my surprise upon learning that as an additional honor we have been designated as recipients of the 2017 Van Schaik Dressage Scholarship Award!"
