Going to a Show? Is Your Registry Paperwork in Order?

Show season has begun, so now is the time to make sure all leases and transfers have been submitted to AMHA. Has your stallion been gelded? Before showing in a gelding class, this change needs to be reported to AMHA. Transfers and leases that are not filed in a timely manner will show the previous owner in show results.

Registry processing may take anywhere from two to four weeks. If you are a 2018 AMHA Premium Member, expedited registry work is a benefit of this membership level! When sending in registry paperwork, be sure to attach a special "Premium" sticker that accompanied your membership card, so we know to send your paperwork to the head of the line!

If you are not a Premium Member, the Registry Department offers a rush fee for $100 on all services, including transfers and registrations. Paying this fee allows your paperwork to be processed within two to three business days upon receipt. Please clearly note "RUSH" on both the envelope and on your paperwork.
