Youth Scholarship Offered to AMHA Central Region

A $1,000 scholarship contest is being offered to college students in the AMHA Central Region by the Mid-States Morgan Horse Club, Inc.

Applicant must be between the ages of 17-21, a current member of AMHA and a Central Region local club member from either Illinois or Wisconsin. Applicant must also have a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average.

To win, a 500-800 word typed essay describing what the Morgan horse has done for you must be submitted by May 20, 2018. The application and essay should be emailed to Shirley Orlando by the deadline at orlandoshirl@att.net. The winner will be presented and the scholarship awarded on June 1, 2018 at the Prairie State Classic Horse Show.
