Club News: CMHA Hosts Trail Ride

The Connecticut Morgan Horse Association, Inc. (CMHA) recently hosted a trail ride at Hammonasset Beach on Saturday, March 31 in Madison, Connecticut. It was the last day horses were allowed on the beach until November, and it was a picture-perfect day! A total of 28 horses and riders enjoyed the three-mile stretch of sand and surf, with both Morgan and non-Morgan horses. Hot chocolate and doughnuts were available before and after the ride. The local Shutter Bug club also joined the group and they took many amazing photos of the horses and riders.
