2018 Winter Working Student Position

Morgan Carriage World Champion, Combined Driving Gold Medalist, and Friesian Carriage World Champion Suzy Stafford at Stafford Carriage Driving is offering a Working Student position available January through April at her facility in Ocala, Florida.

She is looking for a self-motivated individual interested in learning more about the keys to successful training, competing, and caring for the pleasure and competition driving horse.

Position Criteria:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Self-Starter
- Must have own transportation
- Riding skills a plus
- Familiarity with harnessing and hitching
- Basic horse management experience

There are a few options for the right Individual based on a five-day work week (days off will vary based on show schedule):

Option 1
This position includes housing for you and a full care stall for one equine. Minimum two lessons a week with your equine. Possibilities to compete at own expense with free coaching. A small meal stipend

Option 2
This position includes housing for you and a free lease (under the care of Stafford Carriage Driving) on a seasoned, competitive driving equine including all equipment. Minimum two lessons a week. Possibilities to compete at own expenses with free coaching. A small meal stipend
