Scholarship Announced for Summer Kickoff Youth Contest Winner

The Summer Kickoff Open Horse Show in conjunction with the Vermont Morgan Horse Association is pleased to announce that this year's winner of the VMHA Youth Contest is eligible to receive a $500 stipend toward their expenses if they decide to enter the 2017 Grand National Youth of the Year Contest held in Oklahoma City in October. This gift has been donated by the 2016 Reserve Youth of the Year Winner Kellie Saccocia in hopes of attracting more youth contestants.

Please note: Youth Participants competing in the pattern portion of the youth contest need to upload their riding patterns to a YouTube page for judging. The directions on how to upload to the YouTube account along with actual riding patterns are below and on the VMHA website. Patterns are available. All youth competing in the pattern portion must complete and upload their patterns by Thursday June 8.
