Barn Olympics - Monday, October 7 The AMHA Youth Council will be hosting the 2024 Barn Olympics at this year's Grand National. Join us Monday afternoon, October 7, in the Barn 1 Warm-up Arena after classes. Gather your barn team for a fun-filled afternoon of a relay-type race to show off your skills at everyday barn chores - hose winding, polo wrapping, wheelbarrow racing, and more! Open to all ages. AMHA Youth of the Year Meet & Greet and AMHA Medal Mixer - Wednesday, October 9 The AMHA Youth invite you to celebrate! All youth attending the show are welcome to attend a mixer saluting the achievements of those participating in the Youth of the Year contest, the Junior Invitational, Individual Judging, and Gold Medal Equitation Finals. (Youth of the Year and Junior Invitational participants are required to attend.) Medal qualifiers pick up your SWAG BAG! Join us Wednesday, October 9, at 4 p.m. in the Barn 3 Sales Arena for ice cream and FUN. Meet new friends and get to learn more about these amazing programs! |

AMHA Breeders Award - Available for pick up at the show! Back for its fourth year at the 52nd Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show®, the AMHA Breeder’s Award Program recognizes the breeders of the champions in more than 160 world-championship designated classes, across all divisions. AMHA is proud to recognize the time, effort, and cost that all breeders contribute towards perpetuating our beloved Morgan horses. Breeders of those crowned champions will receive a commemorative medallion designed by Maretta Kennedy, which will be available for pick up at the AMHA booth the day following your World Championship class. AMHA Youth of the Year Awards Presentation - Saturday, October 12 Thirteen (13) talented young people from across the country are competing in AMHA's Youth of the Year contest. This four-part test challenges contestants to prove their Morgan knowledge with a written exam, oral presentation, judging test, and riding pattern. The winner of this prestigious title receives a unique custom-designed prize package. Please join us on Saturday evening when we announce this year's AMHA Youth of the Year winner! Awards presentation is the first event of the Saturday, October 12, evening session in the Coliseum. |

AMHECT/WMF Stallion Service Auction - Bigger Than Ever for 2025! The American Morgan Horse Educational Charitable Trust (AMHECT) and the World Morgan Futurity (WMF) Stallion Service Auction promises to be another exciting event in 2025. Seasons to 83 outstanding stallions for the 2025 breeding season will be on the auction block. Bidding begins on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. (Central) at the start of the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show®. Online bidding will close on February 28, 2024, at 6 p.m. (Eastern). Bidding on the stallions with the Top 10 bid "amounts" will continue on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 7 p.m. (Eastern) during the LIVE Stallion Service Auction. It will be held at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark, Ohio, during the AMHA Annual Meeting & Clinic weekend.
