AMHA Welcomes New Associate Editor

The American Morgan Horse Association is pleased to announce that, beginning July 1, 2024, longtime horsewoman Lauren DuPont will join the staff of The Morgan Horse as Associate Editor. Lauren comes on as an addition to the current staff and will be seen at shows and events representing the magazine along with other members of the team.

Lauren is already familiar to many in our community given her lifelong family history with Morgan horses. She is a successful amateur rider as well as a past TMH show correspondent. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising. Most recently, Lauren has served as a Diagnostics Consultant in sales for the animal health company, Zoetis—“helping animals live their best lives.”

Lauren says she is excited to “work for the breed which has given me the best memories. I look forward to being rail side to watch others make theirs!”

Senior Editor Stephen Kinney says, “With years of growth at the official breed journal, we welcome Lauren’s addition to The Morgan Horse team and the service we strive to provide to the Morgan community.”
