American Morgan Horse Educational/Charitable Trust (AMHECT)

Making our Vision a Reality – Now is Time!

Thank you for your interest in supporting the AMHECT. In 2002 the American Morgan Horse Association formed the American Morgan Horse Educational/ Charitable Trust (AMHECT), a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt organization, to support AMHA educational programs and services, and other charitable organizations. Funds raised are used to: (1) provide grants and related expenses for on-going educational efforts to support an understanding of the history and benefits derived from raising and owning Morgan horses; (2) encourage members in promoting an appreciation of Morgan Horses, (3) educate the general population regarding the substantial benefits provided by equine activities, (4)actively engage the Morgan community to ensure that a quality of enriching experience is available to leaders and workers in the Morgan Horse community of tomorrow and (5) build public awareness and knowledge of the Morgan Horse breed.

This on-line giving facility was set up to help friends and supporters make a secure gift to the Trust in a fast and efficient way.

Contribute to AMHECT and your donation enables AMHA to respond swiftly to the changing needs of the equine community, to support the creation of innovative responses to challenges, and to enhance programs and services. The General Fund is attractive to people who want to help build flexible programs relying on AMHECT to address the most pressing needs.

In return for your contribution, we make the following pledge:

• We will direct 95% of your donation to program service delivery
• Your gifts are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law
• We will focus on a wide variety of ways you can make a difference

In compliance with the Data Protection Act, please be assured that your personal information will remain confidential within the AMHECT and will not be passed to a third party without your consent. The option is available to allow us to contact you in the future to update you on our activities and exciting developments, how your donation has been used or how you might support us in other ways.

Alternatively, you are able to make a donation anonymously. Obviously we will have to take some details in order to process your card details, but these are not kept or passed on to anyone else.
