FUNQUEST COED
Funquest Falcon x Black Patch
It was bitterly cold day in late January, 1977 at Funquest Farm. After almost an hour of trying to sort out thirty yearling fillies that were in constant motion in a small paddock, I was ready to give up. One chestnut filly had stood next to me for most of the hour, pinning her ears when any other filly came up for attention. I decided that she had chosen me and I bought Funquest Coed. For all her days with me, she was my horse. She was a grand western pleasure show horse, a superb companion on the trail, a wonderful broodmare, and surprisingly good working cattle. I rode, showed and enjoyed all three of her foals: Suntime Cover Girl, Suntime Coquette and Suntime Cadet. Coed had courage, kindness and intelligence; she was my friend.
